Focus on India’s young talent as Gwalior heralds new cricketing era

Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Stadium can accomodate 30,000 spectators.

“It’s a great opportunity for youngsters. Whenever they have played for there states, they have done well. There’s nothing different to do here,” India captain Suryakumar Yadav said on the eve of the first T20I between India and Bangladesh which will take place in Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.

Varma last played for India at the start of 2024 in the T20I series against Afghanistan. He was most recently part of the Duleep Trophy, where he composed a hundred against India D.
