Duckett off to a flier as England slam fastest Test team fifty

England suffered an early blow in the second Test at Trent Bridge as Alzarri Joseph found the outside edge of Zac Crawley, but stopping the flow of runs has proved to be a cumbersome task for West Indies since then. Ben Duckett tore into Jayden Seales, collecting four boundaries in his over. Ollie Pope has moved to 17 off 21 balls as England attained the fastest Test fifty of all time.

The West Indian pacers have struggled to find their length, guilty of bowling either too full or short and wide, which is Duckett’s forte. The explosive southpaw has given England a flying start, and West Indies should be worried because the pitch looks like a featherbed.
