India’s all-format all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been elevated to Grade A+ category of BCCI central contracts, with the premium category also featuring Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. The quartet will earn INR 7 Cr annually. Jadeja’s counterpart Axar Patel moved up from Grade B to A.
Another allrounder to take a giant leap is Hardik Pandya, who has been promoted from Grade C to Grade A. Hardik was relegated to C last year owing to fitness issues but has been delivering the goods since return and even undertakes the white-ball captaincy in the absence of Rohit Sharma. Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill, meanwhile, have made the jump from Grade C to Grade B.
