The Board of Control for Cricket in India has informed the franchises about the unremitted availability of the Australian and English players for the 2023 Indian Premier League season. Cricbuzz reported that save for Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis, players from all other countries will partake in the tournament from start to end. The Australian and English players will be rendering their services for the entirety of the league despite the looming Ashes series kicking off mid-June.
