Venkatesh Iyer will be out of action for the majority of the Indian domestic season, including the Ranji Trophy. The Madhya Pradesh all-rounder, who was in the reckoning of the national side till recently, has twisted his ankle. He is expected to miss out on two months of cricket although the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association said his absence could last as long as six weeks. Iyer isn’t quite sure himself as to when exactly he could return to action, as per Cricbuzz.
