Royal Challengers Bangalore were in a tight spot against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai on Tuesday when Shahbaz Ahmed and keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik took the onus on themselves and staged an incredible comeback. Chasing a steep target of 170, RCB were reeling at 87/5 when Shahbaz Ahmed and Karthik joined hands for a partnership of 67 runs for the fifth wicket that eventually saw the team through from an improbable juncture. Ahmed took on the likes of Trent Boult during his blinder of an innings, slamming the Kiwi for a flat pull.
