England’s bowling was top-drawer but Australia managed to grind it out in the opening session of the day-night Test in Adelaide. The hard yards were put in by David Warner who managed only 20 in 72 balls after Steve Smith, the stand-in skipper, opted to bat. However, the scoring rate has moved up a few notches post the interval with Warner and Marnus Labuschagne bringing up the fifty partnership. Earlier, Stuart Broad had Marcus Harris adjudged LBW once before it was overturned on review, but soon had him edging behind a pull to be spectacularly caught by Jos Buttler.
