Will Rhodes finally fell on the morning of the third day of the Bob Willis Trophy Final at Lordβs, with Jack Blatherwick producing another beauty to dismiss the Warwickshire captain for 156. The excellent knock drove the Bears towards 500, and their lead beyond 400, after Lancashire were bowled out for 78 on day one. Blatherwick had already seen the back of Sam Hain with a seed that nipped off the pitch and crashed into off stump, his delivery to Rhodes of a similar fashion but ajusting to the line of the left-hander.
