Pakistan’s National T20 Cup competition begins today, with Balochistan taking on Northern at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament will feature some of the country’s most high-profile cricketers, and will represent some much-needed live sport in the country after a difficult few weeks. With New Zealand and now England having pulled out of their respective white ball tours of Pakistan, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja called for his side to become the best in the world after being “failed” by other nations. The domestic T20 Cup represents one of the key factors in achieving such a feat.
