Sunrisers Hyderabad lynchpin Kane Williamson endured an iffy outing with the bat, but he compensated big time by contributing in the field. Prithvi Shaw played a shot too many as he hoicked a slower delivery from Khaleel Ahmed across the line. The timing on that wasn’t the greatest and Williamson at mid-on galloped to his right to complete an expertly-judged sliding catch. Sunil Gavaskar on air compared it to the backpedalling blinder taken by the legendary Kapil Dev during the 1983 World Cup final.
👌 EXCELLENT CATCH! 👌#SRH need wickets and they’ve got one courtesy of a brilliant grab from Williamson – Shaw out for 11 in #VIVOIPL
