The Northern Diamonds made it through to Sunday afternoon’s Charlotte Edwards Cup, beating the Southern Vipers by 18 runs. The Diamonds put on 135-6 off their twenty overs thanks to an excellent knock of 65 from Lauren Winfield-Hill and 22 not out from Jenny Gunn. Gunn continued to tighten her grip over the game with the ball, taking 4-26 off her four overs. The Diamonds will now play the South East Stars at the Ageas Bowl this evening.
